"Foundations in Yoga Anatomy" Online Workshop Series (Online, Pre-Recorded, Self Paced)

Welcome to the "Foundations in Yoga Anatomy" Series!

I created this workshop series as a deep dive into the amazing relationship between yoga & human anatomy.

This series currently has 2 courses with more on the way:

Foundations in Yoga Anatomy: Part 1: The Language of Movement & the Skeletal System

Foundations in Yoga Anatomy: Part 2: Physiology & Function of Muscles

Foundations in Yoga Anatomy: Part 3: (Coming Soon!): The muscles of the Upper Extremity

Foundations in Yoga Anatomy: Part 4: (Coming Soon!): The Muscles of the Lower Extremity

Foundations in Yoga Anatomy: Part 5: (Coming Soon!): The Muscles of the Trunk and Core

This course series was created for Yoga Teachers, or students going deeper into the study of yoga & the body. This comprehensive course series is the place to start to gain a solid foundation of knowledge in Anatomy. It is not just anatomy though, this course goes beyond naming the parts, to focus on how the body functions and how that impacts what we do in our practice.

For Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) This Course is eligible for Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits through the YACEP dashboard.

These are On-Demand Courses...

As soon as you sign up you can get started, work through the course at your own pace, and review the information as many times as you like... that's the great part of online education! You can reach me for questions through the Q & A box on Udemy or you can e-mail me at LauraGyoga@aol.com :)

FAQ:

What is the difference between the two Anatomy series you offer?

"Foundations in Yoga Anatomy" is a longer format and goes into more depth with each topic, including practice videos and the application of knowledge

The "Anatomy of Yoga" Teacher Training Workshop series covers all the body's organ systems in a total of 33 hours so it is more condensed & does not go into as much detail. This is the Anatomy & Physiology module that I teach as part of a Yoga Alliance 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
