Our first session is all about getting to know you, going over your health history, and discussing your goals for Yoga Therapy.
This is a personalized & collaborative approach to yoga!
We will identify areas of your life where yoga techniques could help you to live with a greater sense of ease.
This includes daily practice components, healthy habits, and other aspects of "lifestyle medicine".
Sessions are 1 hour virtual sessions through Zoom
A yoga therapy session can look very different depending on what we are working on.
This can include time on the mat doing posture, meditation or breathwork specifically selected for you.
It can also involve time talking about how you feel physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Each session ends with a bit of "homework" to integrate the tools of yoga into your life.
I will send you a follow-up e-mail with notes and resources to help you between sessions.
Your personal home practice & lifestyle choices are the cornerstone of Yoga Therapy!
This is why I created the Yoga Therapy Video Resource Library with over 650 videos, tutorials, documents and mini-workshops.
You will also get access to a private playlist within the video library where I collect videos, documents, and information to support your goals & the topics we discuss in your live sessions.
This will be updated from one session to the next based on your progress.
Yoga therapy can also be carried out in small groups comprised of individuals with similar needs.
After you have been individually evaluated and completed a couple of 1:1 sessions you may be able to join a small group.
This is a great option to support regular home practice while providing the social and emotional connection that we all need.
