In July we are stepping into our BACK CARE series...

With a FOCUS on the Lower back.

In our Wednesday 30 min MINDFUL MOBILITY class we worked on the movement of the PELVIS- because where the pelvis goes, the lower back follows! Working on active movement of the pelvis is a great way to increase your mind-to-muscle connection to the lower abdominals and lower back muscles (an area that can be difficult to feel connected to!)

Attitude of Mindfulness: Beginners Mind

This attitude is the antidote to EXPECTATION. We relate to the movements of our practice and the state of our body from a blank slate. That is the underpinning of curiosity.... approaching our movement practice with a sense of EXPLORATION that creates awareness.
