Let’s talk about mantra- "The Instrument of Thinking" as a practical, repeat-after-me tool that goes anywhere you are to soothe your busy brain.

Overthinking & inner criticism are a modern mental health epidemic.

Add a little stress or anxiety to the mix, and suddenly your nervous system is stuck in “go-go-go” mode.

That's where mantra comes in.

The brain is made for THINKING.

We can't stop thoughts...BUT we can practice directing them where WE want them to go...(That is called FOCUS)

& This is where the mantra steps in

We give the mind a mantra to repeat

Something to hold onto and focus on (Hint- if you use music this works even better!)

This takes up mental space that would otherwise go toward overanalysing, creating very creative "what if" scanerios or just rhuminating about things like..."why did I say that??"

There is a VERY different ripple effect in the brain & BODY when you are repeating a mantra Vs. when you are criticizing yourself for some perceived mistake or future worry.

Thinking patterns of worry or criticism = inner danger signals that activate the Fight-Flight response

A Mantra = a neutral (or POSITIVE) input to the mind that gives the mind something to think about, which creates inner signals of SAFETY

Repeating a mantra helps anchor your mind, slow your thoughts, and gently shift your nervous system into a more regulated, relaxed state.

A Regulated Nervous System = feeling CALM, Present & FOCUSED

AKA the state we are supposed to spend the majority of our life in...but in the modern world this is actually very rare)

All jazzed up to work with mantra & calm your overactive mind??

Great!

I highly recommend learning to Chant mantra with **MUSIC**

✨ Mantra of the Week:
Aad Such, Jugaad Such, Hai Bhee Such, Nanak Hosee Bhee Such

Translation:
True in the beginning, true through the ages, true now, and true forever.

This ancient mantra from Kundalini Yoga is like a deep reminder that truth is timeless—and so is your inner wisdom.

In Yoga Language: This mantra connects us with the Ajna Chakra or the 3rd Eye point for Intuition & Clarity of Knowing

In Science Language: This mantra connects us with the Prefrontal Cortex (PFC), our ability to solve complex problems, and work with the uncertainty of the future

Strength in the 3rd Eye or PFC can help clear mental fog, dissolve self-doubt, and reconnect you to a steady inner compass.

Try chanting it out loud, whispering it, or silently repeating it in your mind.

Let it roll through your thoughts like waves smoothing out the sand.

The rhythm itself is calming, and the words carry a vibration of trust, timelessness, and truth.

Try This:
The next time you catch your thoughts doing cartwheels, pause.

Take a deep breath. And repeat:

Aad Such, Jugaad Such, Hai Bhee Such, Nanak Hosee Bhee Such.
Repeat it 3–11 times, and just see how you feel.

Your nervous system will thank you 💛

Take good care of yourself!

(no one can do it for you)
