New MEDITATION Workshop Series May 1: The 5 Elements of Life

- I am back from my camping trip with LOTS to share with you! I have opened up my schedule for 1:1 sessions & I just scheduled our next Meditation workshop :) yayy!

Nature is an endless source of inspiration for me & spending so much time outside helped me to become even more aware of the 5 Elements in the world around us. Join me for a meditation workshop series starting on May 1st to learn how the 5 Elements work together in every aspect of our lives!

This Meditation Series will help you to understand the 5 Elements of Life (Tattvas), how to balance them and how they contribute to your health.

In the healing system of Ayurveda (The Science of Life) all things are made up of 5 Elements.

The physical world, our bodies, our personalities and experiences all relate back to the 5 Elements of life. Our health, happiness and success rely on the proper balance of these elements.

Earth - Water - Fire - Air - Ether

Your own expression of these Elements is unique like your fingerprint. This is why "one size fits all" health advice seldom works. What may bring one person into balance, could throw another out of balance. (This is a key concept in Yoga Therapy!) Learning about the elements in YOUR life & within YOURSELF can give great insight into maintaining balance & wellness throughout your life.

Understanding the Elements creates a solid foundation to study Ayurveda and learn about your Dosha (Mind Body Composition based on the elements). Think of this course as the foundation for a deeper study of Ayurveda, self care & yoga as therapy.

This course will have 6 Zoom sessions: 1 hour each: 7pm EST

You can attend Live or view a Recording which will be provided after each session

Mon May 1st: Earth Element

Thurs May 4th: Water Element

Mon May 8th: Fire Element

Thurs May 11th: Air Element

Mon May 15th: Ether Element

Thurs May 18th: All the Elements & an Introduction to Ayurveda & the Doshas

Class Structure:

Each Session will include a talk about the Element's qualities & characteristics

Breathwork to settle the mind & connect to the Element

Guided contemplation to gain insight on the element in your life, your personality & your health

A Meditation to deepen your awareness & connection to the element

A bit of homework to take with you off your meditation cushion & into your life

You will be amazed how an awareness of the elements changes the way you relate to yourself & the world around you!
